Everyone one who lives in Michigan understands that fall means deer accidents. Very few persons are injured by simply striking a deer. They are injured when they swerve to try to avoid a crash, go out of control and hit an obstacle or an oncoming car, or roll over. And they often hit the deer regardless.
If a crash with a deer is unavoidable, the Michigan Deer Crash Coalition recommends motorists:
- Stay in your lane.
- Brake firmly.
- Hold onto the steering wheel.
- Come to a controlled stop.
- Get your vehicle off the roadway.
While hitting a deer is not funny that’s no reason for the Labadie Body Shop not to put a little humor in our advertising. Below are 2 of the ads you may see online throughout this 2012 Michigan deer hunting season.
The Labadie Auto Collision Repair Center is open 6 days a week, works with most insurance companies directly, offers rental cars, and can make your car look like new after an accident.
